RailTel Secures ₹50.42 Crore Contracts in Kerala and Odisha
RailTel Corporation of India Ltd has clinched two government contracts worth ₹50.42 crore, reinforcing its role as a critical IT infrastructure provider. The Kerala State Information Technology Mission awarded a ₹34.99 crore deal for operating and maintaining State Data Centres, a five-year commitment running through 2030. Meanwhile, Odisha's Higher Education Department allocated ₹15.42 crore for developing bilingual college websites, with delivery expected by 2026.
As a Ministry of Railways PSU, RailTel continues expanding its telecommunications footprint beyond rail networks. Shares ROSE 1.31% to ₹364.10 on the NSE following the announcement, reflecting market confidence in these long-term engagements with state governments.
